Millennia
Systems, Inc. has joined prime contractor SRA
International Inc. to support the Government
Accountability Office (GAO) Information Systems and
Technology Services (ISTS) Phoenix Program on a
five-year task order.
SRA
International, Inc. was awarded the contract through
the U.S. General Services Administration's Federal
Systems Integration and Management Center (FEDSIM)
under the GSA Millennia contract
after a competitive bidding process. The
contract is to provide GAO's Information Technology
infrastructure development and operational support.
SRA
was the incumbent in the contract bid and has been
supporting GAO for over a decade. Millennia
Systems has provided network architecture support since June
2008 and was selected by SRA as a partner in its
efforts at GAO.
The contract contains a base year with
up to four option years ultimately worth up to $117
million to SRA if all options are exercised.
Millennia
Systems will provide Tier 3 network architecture and
engineering support to GAO as a subcontractor to SRA. Millennia Systems
is tasked to provide the 5-year technical architecture for GAO's
enterprise network that supports business-enabling applications for
GAO's
4000-person user community, which includes the
services necessary to enable GAO auditors to complete
GAO's mission.
