Rockville, Md., March 18, 2009

Millennia Systems, Inc. has joined prime contractor SRA International Inc. to support the Government  Accountability Office (GAO) Information Systems and Technology Services (ISTS) Phoenix Program on a five-year task order.

SRA International, Inc. was awarded the contract through the U.S. General Services Administration's Federal Systems Integration and Management Center (FEDSIM) under the GSA Millennia contract  after a competitive bidding process.  The contract is to provide GAO's Information Technology infrastructure development and operational support.

SRA was the incumbent in the contract bid and has been supporting GAO for over a decade.  Millennia Systems has provided network architecture support since June 2008 and was selected by SRA as a partner in its efforts at GAO.

The contract contains a base year with up to four option years ultimately worth up to $117 million to SRA if all options are exercised.

Millennia Systems will provide Tier 3 network architecture and engineering support to GAO as a subcontractor to SRA.  Millennia Systems is tasked to provide the 5-year technical  architecture for GAO's enterprise network that supports business-enabling applications for GAO's 4000-person user community, which includes the services necessary to enable GAO auditors to complete GAO's mission.
